1. Maintenance of molds before production

(1) It is necessary to clean the oil stains and rust on the surface of the mold and check whether there are foreign objects in the cooling water holes of the mold, and whether there is a waterway blockage.

(2) It is necessary to check whether the arc in the rubber mouth sleeve of the mold is damaged and whether there are residual foreign objects. Whether the moving parts are abnormal and whether the movement is smooth.

(3) The processing enterprise should first equip each pair of molds with a resume card to record and count its use, care (lubrication, cleaning, rust prevention) and damage in detail. Based on this, it can be found which parts and components are damaged and the degree of wear and tear. In order to provide information on finding and solving problems, as well as the molding process parameters of the mold and the materials used in the product, in order to shorten the test run time of the mold and improve production efficiency.


2. Maintenance of molds in production

(1) Check all the guide pillars of the mold every day, and whether the guide sleeve is damaged, including the mold guide pillars, positions and other components, regularly refuel and maintain them, and maintain them twice a day on and off work.

(2) Clean the foreign matter glue, foreign matter, oil, etc. on the parting surface of the mold and the exhaust groove, and check whether the ejector pin of the mold is abnormal and oil it regularly. Clean the parting surface and the runner surface twice a day. Guide tip, bushing, and position determine tip oiling once a day.

(3) Regularly check whether the waterway of the mold is smooth, and fasten all the fastening screws.

(4) Check whether the limit switch of the mold is abnormal, whether the inclined pin and the inclined top are abnormal.

3. Focus on tracking and testing of several important parts of the mold: the function of ejection and guide parts is to ensure the opening and closing movement of the mold and the ejection of plastic parts. If any part is stuck due to damage, it will lead to production stoppage, so it should Always keep the mold thimble and guide post lubricated (the most suitable lubricant should be used), and regularly check whether the thimble and guide post are deformed and surface damaged;

Once found, it should be replaced in time; after completing a production cycle, professional anti-rust oil should be applied to the working surface, motion and guide parts of the mold, and special attention should be paid to the elastic strength of the bearing parts with gears, rack molds and spring molds protection to ensure that it is always in good working order;

With the continuous production time, the cooling channel is easy to deposit scale, rust, silt and algae, which reduces the cross-section of the cooling channel and narrows the cooling channel, which greatly reduces the heat exchange rate between the cooling liquid and the mold and increases the production cost of the enterprise. Therefore, attention should be paid to the cleaning of the runner;
