Design Points Of Exhaust Gas in Injection Molding

Below we briefly introduce the design points of injection molding exhaust.
1. The exhaust should be ensured quickly and fully, and the exhaust speed should be adapted to the filling speed;
2. The exhaust groove should be opened as far as possible in the thicker molding part of the plastic part;
3. The exhaust groove should be set up on the parting surface as much as possible;
4. The exhaust groove should be located at the end and confluence of the material flow as far as possible, such as the end of the cold material well;
5. For the convenience of mold manufacturing and mold cleaning, the exhaust groove should be located on the side of the female mold as much as possible;
6. The direction of the exhaust groove should not face the operation surface to prevent material leakage and hurt people during injection molding;
7. There should be no corners in the exhaust groove to prevent the accumulation of cold materials;
8. The size of the exhaust groove should be appropriate (generally the thickness is about 0.2-0.3mm), and the processing should be selected according to specific materials and product requirements to avoid flashing as much as possible.
